Have you gotten your case numbers? From nvc

Hello Not yet. I’ll call next month to see. I don’t have the full payment to pay for 3 visas and 3 medicals now so I didn’t bother calling NVC this month. I read a few post and people with same timeline with me called and got case numbers.

Thank you for your response I appreciate it!! And thanks for the new information because I did not know immediately you would have to pay for visas and medical! Do you know the price ranges? and where to find medical doctors in Haiti approved by embassy

Happy Holidays! The visa application processing fee is $265 per person. The medical fees can run from $150 to $300; depends on number of vaccines and so on. Yes, as soon as you obtain your case number you can file the DS-160. However, you have to pay the fees when submitting the DS-160 and schedule the interview. They all need new passports. In Haiti, you need to pay I think $150 per person to get archieve (it's like a birth certificate) so you can apply for the passport. She needs the police background too. I am sending her the money so she can take care of these things first then we can do the DS-160 in mid-January.

Ok. Please let me know what they say. I can try on Tuesday myself and see if it still the same answer. The lady that I talked to was very confident on her answers. You never know she might still gave the wrong answer. I don't feel good at all since I got that news last Friday.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
