Embassy Review : My fiancé's interview was scheduled for 7 AM. He arrived at 6 and got out by 8:30 AM. We provided all the required documents beforehand so he only went with his passport. He was asked a few questions including how we met; how many times have we seen each other; what do I do and where; my yearly income; what he does; have we met each other family; and have either of us been married or have kids. He was approved and should expect his passport back in two weeks.
Rating : Very Good

How long it took to get the police report from DCPJ.

The below stipulations did not apply to us so we didn’t need a police certificate. “If after the age of 16 you lived outside of Haiti for one year or more, or if you are currently living outside of Haiti for the past six months, you must present a police certificate from that place of residence. If you have been arrested anywhere, obtain a certified court record showing the final disposition of the case against you” He still got one which took a week because he knew someone but we didn’t submit it because it wasn’t necessary. He spent some time in DR recently and the embassy called before the interview to make sure that it was less than six months.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
