Comments : Delayed - biometrics scheduled for 19 March, the day after offices were shut down due to Covid-19.
Given another appointment for 31 March which has subsequently been cancelled. Waiting for new appointment to be scheduled for biometrics.

Got two letters saying biometrics rescheduled for August 30 2020 (one for AOS and one for I-485). Appointments were for 10am and 1pm.

The woman at ASC in Nashville was nice and did both my sets of appointments at one time at the 10am appointment. That was the Monday, and by Friday I received my travel card/EAD card in the mail (late July it said my case had been approved, but I was waiting on biometrics).

TL;DR: Received AP/EAD card early September, a few days after biometrics taken.

At biometrics centre there was only one other person I could see besides a couple staff members; there was basically no wait time to get my appointments taken once I arrived. Overall good experience.

GC INTERVIEW: in mid-november got a letter saying green card interview would be 18 dec in nashville uscis office. went to the interview and i got asked 2 questions, my husband got asked 1 question. interview took place in a separate room over video call. the woman who interviewed us seemed very serious. besides identification docs she didn't ask to look at anything, even though we had plenty of documents to show her proving a joint relationship. she said she would approve us (yay!), and the same day uscis case status updated to say 'new card is being produced'

Comments : Called USCIS as I was wondering when Nashville ASC would re-sent my biometrics; the worker told me I got approved for EAD without biometrics on 24 July. Notice has been sent. She also said I'm not 'in line' yet for biometrics for my green card, but that could happen in the next 2 weeks (she really isn't sure though).

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
