Consulate Review: Peru
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : June 8, 2020
Embassy Review : Our interview was in January, It was a smooth and quick process. We had our paperwork organized and that helped when they were asking for them. The wait was about 30-45 minutes, the k1 VISA line is a different line. They will ask you and move you to the correct line.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Miami
Event Description
Entry Date : 2020/06/07
Embassy Review : I think because of COVID 19, there is less staff in the airports. Immigration took over an hour in Miami. They asked my fiance, where is he going to live ? When are you getting married...etc simple questions. It was fast interview and process. The waiting was hard because there was only 2 officers at first. Overall, we are just grateful they were kind and that he could finally get into the US at this time.

Hi!!! Did your fiance have to take a repatriation flight to get out of Peru? Did he have any trouble getting through migrations? Did you have to contact foreign affairs for him to be allowed to leave? I would appreciate your help!!!! I have my K1 about to expire !

Yes, he took it with Solange Reps. The repatriation flight was very easy to book. You can book with https://www.facebook.com/Solangerepstumayorista ( SOLANGE REPS) they will get you a flight ASAP you just need a ride to Lima where the meet up point is. They have all the information , you can also visit the Peru embassy site : https://pe.usembassy.gov/alert-upcoming-flights-on-august-28-and-september-4-peru-august-26-2020/ they will have updated flights from PERU to USA. Once you have booked your flight, Solange Reps can you send a receipt /confirmation of your flight so you can email the embassy and get a transportation letter, that letter will help you to use the taxi. Please let me know if you need more help I am here for you. !

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
