Event Description
Review Date : September 30, 2019
Embassy Review : We got in the building and seated in area A at about 10am. We were called up the the first window at 10:35am. The lady took fingerprints, the birth certificates (k1 & k2), passport pictures (2 each), police record, non impediment, i134, & tax transcripts for me & my mother (petitioner & cosponsor). She asked if I had proof of citizenship for my mother (birth certificate/passport), I said no because my mother recently mailed her BC off to get her passport. The lady told us to have a seat and wait until fiance’s name is called.
I saw the man looking through our i129f packet.
We waited another 10 minutes and the man called fiance’s names & we went to his window. He took fingerprints again because our K2 was under 14. He asked do we have a date set for the wedding, I said no just within 90 days of his arrival. He typed something in the computer and said I don’t really have any questions about the validity of your relationship, thank you for having such a detailed application, it told me everything I needed to know. You’re approved. You’ll get an email in a week or 2 when the visa is ready for you to pick up. We said thank you & left !
We were walking out by 11:30am!
Rating : Very Good

Hi there, how long did it take for you to get an interview date. When I go to schedule it says no appointment available.

We got an interview the day our case said ready. Sept 4. There was a lot of dates available when we went on there. I think you can call the embassy about available dates but from what I was told they’ll just tell you to keep checking back and they’ll add some more dates in a few days.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
