Hi, congratulations on the approval stage. How did you get updated on your approval? Did you get a mail or you checked it using your receipt #?

I got an email. The mail has been sent and I'll get it in a week. I also checked using the receipt number. The uscis has an option where you'll be emailed of any changes so o signed up for that

Hello what's the latest with your case?

We were DQ'd but with the consulates in Abu Dhabi closed because of Covid since March we have no idea when we will hear from them

So because both myself and wife live abroad the notice was asking for proof of domicile for the USC. We only knee this because we called the NVC because we can never see the messages on the website. They told me we need just to write a letter and have it stamped by our lawyers to explain domicile. We did that and got the DQ 2 weeks later. Now we wait for the interview date, which may take very long at the rate things are going now
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
