The actual interview took place in Guayaquil. The interview went well until my fiancee disclosed the fact that she is pregnant, the consul say everything was fine but he needed proof of pregnancy and conception. She received the actual visa a month and 20 days later, so that has been a desperate wait.... |

Worse moment of my life!! I almost had a heart attack twice, all I can suggest is if your fiancee comes in on a late night flight be prepared to wait and be very patient. My fiancee arrived at 2:30 a.m. she didn't not exit customs till 7:00 a.m. No one will give you information as far as customs go and you'll be lucky if you get a representative from the Airlines. Around 4:00 a.m. I guess a customs agent felt sorry or got tired of seeing my face so he decided to go see what was going on with my case finally someone who gave me information! I guess customs got bombared with a bunch of flights and decided to give people an extra hard time. Overall the experience was frightening, my fiancee didn't get harassed as a matter of fact after the whole wait they only took her yellow document and stamped her passport, they only reason she said they had her in there for a long time was 'cause of people ahead of her lying about their documents and so on... |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
