Did you file a K3?

Nope!

Heard from NVC January 9th, 2020. Three things were wrong with my documents. I should have everything to re-upload next week.

What was wrong with the docs?
Literallyrachel on 2020-01-10 said:
1. I had to call this morning to see what was wrong because I had uploaded an Explanation for Not Filing Taxes twice--once under Tax Return or Transcript and then again under Explanation for Not Filling (under the Additional Documents). Turns out I just needed to mark the Tax Return or Transcript as "missing" and leave a comment telling them why I hadn't filed so I briefly explained in the comment but said to refer to the document specifically about that information to learn more.
2. One of husband's police certificates was rejected because it did not meet the requirements of being "from a correct issuing authority." We needed the certificate "con excepción al artÃculo 51 del código penal." Literally we got it this morning and it was a one line difference from the one we had previously. Ridiculous because now we have to wait a week to get it translated.
3. Finally, my joint sponsor was rejected because she technically should have filed the i-864A. Basically, it's my mother and I didn't realize since she and I technically share the same physical address she needed to file as a household member and not as a joint sponsor.

Congratulations on receiving an interview date! Did you guys have a rescheduled interview or an expedite?
Literallyrachel on 2020-07-08 said:
Thanks! No, it wasn’t rescheduled or expedited so I’m assuming the embassy is just starting to take interviews again.

Hi! I'm from Argentina too. They said our case was completed. How did they tell you about the interview date? I didn't know the embassy was open
Literallyrachel on 2020-07-08 said:
I got an email from NVC! It had the interview appointment information.

Good luck at your interview today guys! Cheering for you!

Hi! Yes, approved!!! Just hadn’t updated the timeline yet! We’ll probably write up a consulate review soon too!!
Peony on 2020-07-31 said:
Congratulations!! That's great news. And thank you both for considering writing a consulate review!

Yay! Congrats on the approval! Did they ask you guys for that DS5540?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
