What was your reason to expedite?

Hello there and congratulations!!! So excited for you both. Wanted to know if you can give me a little insight of your trip to Guyana and your experience at the embassy. What kind of questions did they ask? I appreciate it.

Hello! I have a burning question and hope you can help me. Did you have to put any extra stamps on the police records documents? I read you have to have the one in the marriage certificate. Is this correct? Thank you in advance

Hello, when we did it my wife was able to resolve it with a relative so we got them with the CUP stamps. However, not sure how it is now with the change in currency. Back then it was stamps in CUC or CUP. Best of luck to you.

How much was it because I saw you need a stamp for the $100. My husband got the $5 stamp I believe but that was it

Not sure what it is now. When we did it back in 2019 we used the $5 stamp and that was sufficient.

Hello! Had a question for you, perhaps you can help me. Would you be able to recommend a good place to stay in Guyana while waiting for the visa interview. Trying to find something at a good price. Also do you know if we need an interpreter for the visa interview? Thank you

Hello, we stayed at El Sol VIP Hostal. We had a great experience with them, I believe they are still in business and have expanded. I would check them out on Facebook and contact them for a quote if you are interested. As for the interpreter, you shouldn’t need one. Hope that helps. Regards.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
