Comments : The case complete to interview took it's time! But generally, the entire process in itself was pretty painless. Distance makes it harder.

Interview was pretty standard. Lasted under a minute. They will definitely ask to see relevant pictures, so take an album of around 30-40 photos as a minimum. Every single applicant before myself was asked to show photos and the CO's were very attentive in scrutiny as to who's who.

All the best to you!

Best Wishes, how did you get an approval so quickly?

Thank you very much! I have absolutely no clue. Wasn't really prepared for the rapid approval but thank God, here we are. I wanna say I've got a lot of travel history on me? May be that's why? Who knows.

Okay thank you and best wishes

Congratulations. Did you by any chance submit an I-129 petition for a K3 visa at the same time as your I-130? Thanks and good luck for the rest of the process.

Hello, and THANK YOU! Yes I did, but the i129f was terminated a couple of weeks into submission. All the best to you too!

Thanks for the quick reply.

How did you get you case number? Did they email you (the petitioner) or the beneficiary? Or was it sent by postal mail to Bangladesh?

Everything was emailed to us, both the petitioner and the beneficiary, NVC seemingly use the information on form G-1145, that is if you'd submitted one in the first place. If you've been waiting for a case number for more than 4 weeks, give them a call. Expect to hold for 45min-1 hour.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
