What was your RFE??
Raza329 on 2019-09-05 said:
It was about NADRA marriage certificate, need to provide them. You probably from India, may be you do not about it. In pakistan when you marry you need to register your marriage in the national database system. RFE was about that certificate, because we forgot to provide it with our I-130 application and other docs.

After how many days you got the physical paper of notice after the notification of RFE?? Today I saw online that RFE is generated so when I should expect the paper through mail??
Raza329 on 2019-09-05 said:
It came after exact 7 days.
YasArr on 2019-09-05 said:
Okay..JazzakAllah for your reply
YasArr on 2019-09-05 said:
One more thing to ask, actually two things.
1. Have you submitted your tax returns or tax transcripts and w2 along with i130 form??
2. Have you got the notification as a text message on your mobile phone that you got RFE. Or else you saw it only on USCIS website??
Raza329 on 2019-09-05 said:
1. Tax returns and and w2 submission is the next process after I-130 is approved. U need to submit your tax transcripts at NVC stage.
2. Yes you can be notify via text, if you submit the separate form along with your I-130 process. I forgot the form name. You can ask anyone on this forum. I saw my RFE on USCIS case tracker and same time you can see your case status on the USCIS website.
YasArr on 2019-09-06 said:
So you submit a separate form that's why you didn't get text.....In many articles I read about RFE and they say RFE took 90 days to process and in your case, it took only 20 days. So it depends on what kind of RFE it is or does it depends on service centre which process fast. What you think about that??I got RFE so Can I hope that they will too process quickly as yours??
Raza329 on 2019-09-06 said:
No it's not like that, you need to submit Form G-1145, e-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, is an optional form that is used to request an electronic notification (text and/or email) when USCIS accepts your immigration application. 90 days is the maximum time they take to review your submitted evidence. No one can estimate the time limit but if they didn't respond on your request within 90 days you can make a call to USCIS and asked them about your case. Have faith on almighty Allah and submit your evidence, hope it will not take longer.

@hubby 12, @YasArr
thank you .
@F.k thank you for the greetings, and do remember one thing every case is different, they ask questions according to your case.
Questions they ask from me is:
•How do you both met?
•Tell me about your wife?
•Where your marriage held? Venue and city?
•How long you have been married?
•Is this your love or arrange marriage?
•How many people attend your marriage?
•Do you both have any child together?
•Ask for wedding photos, and said you are approved, you will get your passport within two weeks.

Hi,
Can you please detail your experience at point of entry into the US? My spouse will be travelling soon and I just wonder what the process is like. Does the IO just check the sealed envelope and passport and let you go or is there any type of secondary screening done? Do they ask any questions there?
Shm Bk on 2020-10-09 said:
Congratulations to you and your family.
One question : was your interview expedited or was it cancelled due to covid and they rescheduled it in September ? Or was it regularly scheduled ?
Thank You
Raza329 on 2020-10-10 said:
@Hmhm1 at immigration on JFK the officer only ask my date of birth, he asked is this your first visit to USA and also he confirmed if I want my green card on given address.. thats it. No other questions no inquiry. Than he stamped my passport and said " welcome to america". I didnt received any sealed packet along with my visa passport, I think now they move to online and your every detail is with immigration officer before you arrived at the airport.

@Shm Bk my interview wasn't expedite, I only sent one email to their IV section application online in July 2020. My case was already at Islamabad and medical was done when my interview was cancelled on 18 March.
Embassy rescheduled my interview through phone call and ask me if I can travel and attend interview with in a week.

Thank you. I hope they start working faster so our case is done as well
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
