I met my husband in March 2018, he visited in April, proposed and we got married in May. We met again in London in June but wasn’t able to successfully schedule another appointment due to his military schedule and his pending deployment. He got deployed in January. However my concern is not about proving that we are genuinely married cause I have front loaded our chats, call logs and pics on NVC. My problem is that I had a hiccup in New York in 2010. I was charged with visa fraud which Was eventually dismissed after investigation but was removed from the states anyway. Now my question is will this affect my interview in any way. Note that there was no basis for the arrest in the first place and the whole situation shouldn’t have happened at all. I didn’t pay any fine nor did I take a plea. It was dismissed by the judge without prejudice.

For the birth certificate, go to Lagos Mainland local government to get certify true copy of birth certificate or go to high court for sworn affidavit..
And as for the medical they won't attend to you if you don't have appointment letter, I will advice you to wait until the embassy contact you...

When filling ds160 explain everything in the form, don't hide any information from them coz they have all these info in their data base and when you asked about any of these be truthful in your response
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
