Hi guys! Have you received any notifications on your case?

Did you have an IOE? And did you do an expedite or k3?

Nope, I'm not sure what made our case move so quickly. We just filed a regular I-130 for an IR-1/CR-1 spouse Visa. We were expecting to wait at least 4 more months for approval - who knows why these things happen when they do, but I am thankful!

Have you guys tried to reach out to the embassy? It looks like another couple from Chile has their interview date for the end of this month.

We have! The first time I think I gave too much information and they told me we still had to wait, but I just wrote again and we are in the process of trying to register. They don't seem to be coordinating interviews via email anymore which makes it all very confusing. But fingers crossed we get an interview scheduled this week or next. Good luck to you as well!

Congrats on getting your interview date you guys!

Thank you!!

Hi!
Did you guys receive instructions in your interview letter regarding specific documents you must bring to the interview?
Our interview letter just says to bring the original documents we uploaded to CEAC.

Hello! so sorry I didn't reply. We just brought what was required per the State Department website + the medical documents + pretty much all of our I-130 package. They didn't look at anything my husband brought and only asked us how we met and when (!!) but I imagine it is good to bring a folder full of evidence and documents just in case.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
