Event Description
Review Date : February 20, 2020
Embassy Review : Had a super nice IO. Very friendly. He had already gone through our file so was just asking us questions to make sure they matched. In and out within an hour.

Make sure you add a lot of extra time for traffic. We added 30 minutes and still were a few minutes late.
Harassment Level : Very Good

Did you manage to get your Civil docs in time yet?
Hunter & Robyn on 2019-06-06 said:
@KyleB22 Yes, thankfully my PCC arrived last week!
KyleB22 on 2019-06-06 said:
Great stuff! what have you all included in your proof of ongoing relationship for the interview, I would just like to make sure I have all the areas covered too
Hunter & Robyn on 2019-06-06 said:
I have pictures from all our visits, with more photos from the visits after sending in the i-129F. I have pictures of myself with his family, him with mine, and then our families together, as well as whatsapp messages between us, call logs, and flight details. I'm not sure if I should include receipt for engagement ring as that was already in the original i-129F. Hoping I have everything! :D
KyleB22 on 2019-06-06 said:
That sounds pretty conclusive! I'll be including the same, I sure that will suffice! I just don't have any many pics of our families together as we haven't been able to travel as much as a family to them... wishing you guys all the best going forward!
KyleB22 on 2019-06-10 said:
I forgot to ask, when your petition was waiting at NVC did you have to submit any docs to them or only at the embassy stage of the journey?
Hunter & Robyn on 2019-06-10 said:
I think just all the important photos proving it's a legitimate relationship will suffice. Thank you very much, and wishing you the best too! I didn't have to submit any documents. The embassy will send either you or your fiance the Packet 3 where you will have to submit your DS-160, book your medical, and then book your interview. No extra documents were requested. It's a waiting game - they'll notify you of what they need :D
KyleB22 on 2019-06-20 said:
Hey, so I finally got my P3 letter fom the embassy today, how did you go about getting an interview appointment, the ais us visa website hasn't shown appointments for weeks still...
Hunter & Robyn on 2019-06-21 said:
Hey Kyle! I booked my appointment as soon as I received the P3. It was more than a month later, but that was the nearest available date. So you may have to go further down the time line in the year to find a free slot. Good luck!
KyleB22 on 2019-06-21 said:
Congrats on your approval! did you also go on to the ais.usvisa website? I tried going there but no dates available, and tried calling the consulate they said i should call back on monday and then schedule and appointment But thanks for all your help! all the best for your trip coming up!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
