Congratulations Arewa. I’m currently at the nvc stage after I got rfe. So pls don’t forget to update us how the interview go?

@Mac_skendy Thank you, yeah I'm working on it, i will be taking my school ID, my WAEC and NECO results plus my University Certificate... i will take our Apartment Rent Receipt, and money Tellers my husband sent for preparation for our wedding, pictures before marriage, screenshots of call logs and i will print out chats, screenshots of our video calls... like you said i am gathering them already because i want to be overly prepared. Thanks a lot.

@Greg101 Thank you, will definitely get everyone updated, and it will be good news ðŸ™

@Arewa very well dear, hope your birth cert is issued by local govt or NPC nd all have a copy of AOS & Transcript also. all the best

@Mac_skendy yes i do have my attestation of birth. And the AOS scanned documents my husband sent to the NVC.... I'm just turn on some people say he has to DHL them to me... but i have also read of people just taking the scanned copies too....

Plus, the police certificate expires after 3month, so i will go get another one, so i don't end up with an RFE... God forbid bad thing, i have had patient enough in this journey to have a delay whatsoever... the process is draining..lol...

@Arewa
As regards the AOS a copy is all you need, he doesnt have to DHL any cos i had it with me but they did not ask for it during my interview.
As regards the police certificate you can have another one done but not till they ask for the new one dont show it first cos all they wanted is the documents you submitted to NVC, but i know its valid for a year actually but to be on the safe side just have it separately just in case they ask you to do another one you can now give it to C/O
But lemmi ask when did you do your police certificate?

I'm sorry i am just seeing this, thanks for the advice... got the police certificate around February...

congratulations!!!! so happy for you

@mac_skendy thank you so much

@Arewa, you are welcome
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
