Hi. Please did you schedule the interview yourself or the embassy sent you the date? If you scheduled it yourself, are new dates available at the moment?

@ S&E how where you able to get your interview date with receiving your NOA2? And please did the consulate send you a letter providing the dates for appointment?

When the NVC had mailed the packet my fiancé completed the DS-160 and paid the fee. Once the packet showed it arrived at embassy and was ready for interview to be scheduled he went online and scheduled the interview. He had scheduled it towards end of August. I’m not sure if there are interview dates now but from what I was told once embassy receives packet to check regularly as they are posting interview dates all the time.

After completing the DS-160 and paying visa fee you use the number given once submitted to schedule interview at this site for Ghana https://www.ustraveldocs.com/gh/gh-niv-appointmentschedule.asp

My fiance had the interview and he said it went really well. He said the lady was very nice and that it was nothing to stress over as he had. She asked basic questions such as why did he want to marry me, was I previously married, why did it end, questions about my children and then his child. Also, asked him if he knew what I did for work. So now we just have to wait for the visa to be processed and issued.
His&Hers123 on 2019-12-11 said:
Oh wow great!!! Congratulations again. How many days till issued were you given?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
