SO FAR, as of March 22 we have 1 hold up due to Corona in Singapore. My wife's replacement will be quarantined for 14 days coming into Singapore. The Philippines is definitely holding us up more then Singapore so far. Her replacements flight was supposed to be April 6 and that cancelled until who knows when now. Then after she does make it to Singapore and is quarantined for 14 days we don't know what the Sing to Phils and then Phils to U.S. travel situation will be. We aren't terribly worried at this point because more has happened for us in the last week since expedited than in the last nearly 21 months since we started this process. Best of luck to EVERYONE going through this nonsense and also with the virus and staying healthy!

One more hold up. The U.S. Embassy in Singapore closed to the public on March 23 until who knows when...

Denied. More nonsense requested...🤬🤬🤬

Hey. Sorry to hear you were denied. Could we ask what happened?

Nitpicking nonsense... They wanted more info, half of which she had and they didn't look at. They want my high school diploma from 25 years, not hers, only mine. They also want text screenshots and call logs from July 2018 until now. I emailed the Embassy and they answered my questions well and even offered some advice so we feel a little better now. We are waiting for 1 document and will resubmit again.

A high school diploma? How does that relate to anything? Why did they want that?

It doesn't have anything to do with this in my (and everyone I've spoken to, including my congressman) opinion. This whole immagration process has been an absolute NIGHTMARE since we started this over two years ago now. She was apparently approved this morning for her, BUT the embassy is still emailing her more questions!!! I've never been so disappointed in any part of my government as I am in the immigration system, and that's saying a lot if you know how screwed up the IRS is...

Congrats guys! I'm glad you finally received your approval.

Thank you so much! 2 years and 12 days, it has truly been a nightmare at every step... We have been a couple 6 years and married for over 2 years. It's crazy how fast and easy it is for some and how horrible it is for others. Good luck to everyone! J
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
