Embassy Review : Our appointment was at 9:45 we arrived there an hour early , everything went really fast and smooth ... only was asked a couple of questions about how met, if he’s travel to the us or outside of Peru , my previous divorce , where are we getting married ... that’s it approved !! Super fast no more than 5 min I’ll say 😊😊

Congradulation. Did both of you go to the interview?
Shirley Angie on 2019-03-26 said:
Thank you ! Yes , we did ! It only took us less than 5 min at the interview ...
Lon & Bel on 2019-03-26 said:
Thank you. My fience thinks she should go alone. I want to be there. If the visa will be sent within a week I feel it better to just be in lima and wait to bring her to the states.

I’ve heard the process is faster when your here for her interview . I’m still in Lima , most likely I will be here until his visa arrives so we can fly together to Atlanta

hello! I have a confusion, I’m not sure I thought just the beneficiary( foreign fiancé) is the one who is going to have the interview in the US embassy? What about the US citizen?
Lon & Bel on 2019-03-31 said:
The consulate in lima allows the is citizen to attend the interview. I know from what I have read it makes the interview much faster. About 5 minutes in the interview with the or 20 minutes alone.

Thank u so much! Also, I would like to know if the letters of intend to married from the foreign fiancée ( beneficiary) can be scan and print or a hand ink?
Lon & Bel on 2019-03-31 said:
I suggest ink. I copied the signature through the paper from my phone.
Lon & Bel on 2019-04-09 said:
Can we schedule the medical before the consulate has the packadge?
Shirley Angie on 2019-04-09 said:
Make sure you schedule the medical a week before your interview so you have enough time ... i don’t think they let you interview if you don’t have the medical results in hand
Lon & Bel on 2019-04-09 said:
Can we schedule the medical before the NVC sends the package to Lima?
Shirley Angie on 2019-04-09 said:
I waited until the consulate in lima had it ... message them... it took my package like 3-4 days to arrive ... they didnt send me a confirmation that it had arrived or anything , I kept looking under ceac then I message them for instructions and they sent me the checklist for what to bring to the interview

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
