The interview was fairly simple. The first question asked what’s about religion? They asked us how we met each other? What did my husband marry outside of his country? Then proceeded to ask my husband a whole lot of other questions. It was just as you would expect an interview to be. He didn’t ask for any more documentation even though I was ready for it. At the end of the interview he said ok your green card is approved. |

My fiancé did his interview, and he told me everyone was super friendly. His interview was super easy. They asked him.
Where did you meet your fiancé ?
Where did you meet the first time in person?
What plans do you have for a wedding ?
A couple personal questions. Then told him he needed paperwork for my job. He asked what they needed he had everything so he gave it to them told him that his case was nice and he has everything then the magic words. “ congratulations welcome to Americaâ€, and told him when to expect his passport! |

Timeline Comments: 12Congratulations! You both must be so excited! What type of paperwork did they need from your work that you had already prepared?
Thank you. In the original email they asked for a letter from my work. I made sure he had two letters and I gave him pay stubs. They told him it was more than enough.
Thank you for that info! again, congrats, so exciting!! Wish you both the best of luck
Of course. If you need anything don’t hesitate him and I are both super active on here. Good luck to you as well.
Awesome, I appreciate that
Congratulations! I'm super happy for you!
This gave me a relief to what to expect in the future since we sent our I-129F yesterday.
Do I need a lot of papers from my fiancée in the states regarding work and financial aid?
What about the affidavit? My fiancée lives with her parents and makes more than 22K a year, is that acceptable?
hiii, how are you doing? please what to do after reciving the NOA 2, we just recieved ours but i've no idea what to do next, how will the US embassy in Algeria contact me despite they don't have my e-mail or my phone number i am really confused here, thanks
Congrats on your AP/EAD approval. I was wondering did you expedite your request?
Thank you. We actually did not. Some how it worked that fast. I heard Vegas is quicker than most. It was weird because the same day his did it biometrics we got a status change on his AOS as well.
That's great! I had my bios taken on 8-14 too, but my NOA was much later than yours. Always hoping!
I’m hoping for you as well this process is never easy. Hopefully because everyone is open now they will process faster. Good Luck.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
