POE was O'Hare Airport Chicago - took about an hour mostly waiting, maybe 5 minutes once actually talked to Customs who were rather nice and moved pretty quickly. Went very smooth. Married on 1.30.2020. |

Was 3rd to enter - was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The gentleman that did my interview asked a few very basic questions like when my finace came to visit, where we were going to live in us and why my daughter did not want to go at this time since she is going to come after school year is finished. He did not ask for any of the many papers I had taken with me but was prepared for anything. The consul that did my interview was very nice and more like a casual conversation than an interview. After maybe 5 minute talk he gave me a paper, verified my mailing address and said I should receive my visa in about a week and that was it. |

Timeline Comments: 12we share similar timelines and the same csc. good luck
May I ask what the RFE was for?
Nothing big, had just mistakenly sent my copy of divorce papers rather than the court certified copy.

Thanks. I sent the first page of the Court Certified Copy only. I did not send the whole 15 pages. So I am expecting a RFE but am prepared to mail the whole set as soon as I get it.
Good luck to your journey.
Good to hear. We received out NOA1 on May 28th...so we are hopeful to hear this week!
Has your case left NVC yet? I am a day behind yours, and its still at NVC. Good luck
Yes I did, CEAC says Ready even though I never actually received the NVC Welcome letter but did email them and got our case number.
awesome congratulations....
Congratulations nothing on ceac for us. No email nothing yet. Makes me wonder about nvc.
Congratulations pack your bags! :-)
Thank you, I'm going in a few days for needed vacation before flying back :) Good luck at your interview next week!!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
