Interview lasted about 20 minutes. The interviewer did not mention his name to us. Just went through the questions on the application that we had already answered. Do you belong to a terrorist organization, do you have any children, have you been married before, where did you meet? It was quite intimidating for my wife, but she got through it. They took about 10 pics of our time together. Family pics, wedding pics. But we got through the process and all is well now. |

Interview comments: Pooky arrived 90 minutes early for her interview. They took her into the interview room where there were 4 other couples on k1 Visa interview. Lots of people for travel visas. They spent 30 min looking at her documentation she brought with her-Passport, proof of being single, birth certificate. She then met with a interviewer who spoke thai and English, but asked only 3 questions in English-Where did you meet, where is he from, and what does he do in his job. Okay, Visa approved. You should receive in 7 days. Visa arrived in 3 days.

Timeline Comments: 4On April 3rd, I received a RFE letter, which arrived today April 8th. I forgot to check Yes or No to question #55- Did you meet your beneficiary through the service of an IMB? (International Marriage Broker). All I have to do is check No and return the self addressed envelope.
On 4/16, I received a message from USCIS that they have received my RFE response and will continue processing my application.
