Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2019-12-31
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Easy peasy, I think our flight was the only one on ground when we arrived, took me less than 2 minutes to reach the immigration officer and another 3 minutes to finish up at the back office. The officer congratulated me and sent me on my way. I spent more time at baggage claim than immigration.

Event Description
Review Date : August 23, 2019
Embassy Review : My interview was short, the process is as described on the website. I was asked the following questions:
1.Who Petitioned for me?
2.How did we meet?
3.What does she do?
4.Is she a citizen?
5.How many times has she visited?
6.Does she have pictures taken with my parents?
7.How many times has she visited and I was asked to show pictures.
8.Has any of us been married before or had kids before?

That's it, I was approved. They said the visa will be ready in 5-10 business days.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the community.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
