Comments : About every imaginable and some unimaginable delays happened to us.
St Lukes required an 8 week TB culture even though it was nearly impossible that she had TB since she lived at a workplace where she and everyone else was required to be tested every year. Also I researched online and found government studies that showed that TB is almost always detected within 14 days and only rarely in 21 days and never beyond that! Then we waited in line all day for the interview and had to come back the next day because of delays. Then, 2Go shipped her Visa to a random remote province and we had to go retrieve it even though they had the correct address. The CFO process brought more challenges since the lady was demanding things such as a certificate of employment and which don't exist in the U.S. (surely my Fiancee was not the first coming to the U.S.) and other things that were impossible for us to obtain. However, finally she relented and gave the stamp. Processing through DFW Texas airport went very smoothly and then the agent providing the marriage license at our small county office here was actually helpful and pleasant to work with! We got married the Saturday after Christmas and so made it before the end of the year, just 6 months later than planned but at least we are together now. :)

Embassy Review : The interview went well over all.
We arrived early but ended up waiting all day.
We had thought we would be out before noon the first day so didn't have food and were getting pretty hungry and tired of waiting.
Then, later in the afternoon they told us we would have to come back the next day!
That caused some challenges for our schedule but we worked it out.
The next morning we got in within an hour or two.
When I (the US Citizen) went with my fiancée to the window to ask if I could sit in the officer sternly told me to go sit down in the lobby and wait!
He seemed annoyed that I would ask but it was maybe still good that I did so he knew I came all the way over to be with her during the interview.
He asked her (the petitioner) all the basic questions: When did we meet, how many times did we meet, how many children I have, were any minors when I was divorced before, what are their ages, what is my income, etc. Elizabeth said she was confident and knew all the answers well and so it went well.

The CFO interview we had to do later was MUCH more difficult and frustrating since they were asking for documentation that does not exist and seemed to equate being difficult with doing their job well.
Rating : Good

Embassy Review : It went really well. It was Christmas night. I was pleasantly surprised that all the Immigration officials were working. Felt bad for them but glad they were there for us.
We went to the Immigration booth together and explained that Elizabeth was here on a K1 Visa. They sent us to the Immigration office. We went to the waiting room. There were a few other groups of people there.
We waited a while because the person ahead of us at the Immigration office had some kind of violation. They officer was stern with them and warned them but let them in. It seemed that when they got to our paperwork they scanned it and tossed it in a bin then called us up and quickly processed everything and we were on our way.
Very quick and easy overall.

Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
