USCIS entered my address wrong in their system (it was right on the forms) and I didn't receive the notices of receipt. After a month of receiving the text message that they got my applications, I called them and they said the address was fixed. I didn't get a biometrics appointment letter, so I kept calling them, until 03/01/19 I finally talked to someone who understood my problem and transferred me to an officer (tier 2 or supervisor). The officer confirmed that they sent the biometrics appointment letter to the wrong address and that it got returned, she rescheduled it to 03/06/19 and asked me to use the online website to update my address (form AR-11). I noticed that although I put the 3 receipt number on the AR-11, I only got the status at the MyUSCIS account that I requested a change of address to the first case. So I did one AR-11 for each case (AOS, EAD and AP). |

May/2019 update: I received a job offer on May 22nd, on the same day I sent the job offer and asked for the help of one senator and my local congressman. I also called USCIS and requested my case to be expedited. On May 30th I received a letter from the Senator's office with USCIS answer that my case was being expedited on May 22nd. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
