Event Description

Embassy Review : I had my K1 visa interview last week and By the Grace of God I was approved. I got to the place an hour before my interview time, they made us form a queue under the tree at the roundabout. We were giving instructions on what to do and what not to do.
We went through the first screening process where you show your appointment letter ( for K1 indicate your case number). Then the second screening by the security personnel. I then submitted a copy of appointment letter to the front desk.
I sat down for 30 mins and was asked to submit my passport, passport size pic, Medical and police report, birth certificate and evidence of relationship.. kindly note the didn't ask for any evidence of financial support even tho I offered.

I was asked to wait for my main interview which last about 5 mins and was an anticlimax. The consular was very polite and friendly.

I was asked the follow questions
- who petitioned for me?
-where does the petitioner stay?
- what does petitioner does
- my profession?
- where in the us I would stay?
- how I met my fiance/ timelines
- what I love about my fiance
- the work i Intend to do in the US
-my past visa denials

Honesty is everything. They have every information about u, because the go over your files before u are interviewed. Speak confidently and look into their eyes..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't like, I saw people sweating and getting tremors..

They can repeat the same questions severally.

God bless us all

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
