A very busy consulate, tons of visit visa folks are allowed to enter the embassy before any immigrant folks are allowed in. Expect long wait times, plan on spending the whole the day there and eat a good breakfast before leaving for the embassy at 6:00 AM. There are 12 windows in a small room, that is crammed full of people. Once you get into the room, you will be called by your name to first submit the fee, then the paperwork and finally to be interviewed. There is absolutely no order as when your name will be called during any of the three times, just be patience and listen for it, trust me they will not miss you, as they will send someone all the way outside yelling your name if you do not show up at the window. Plan on staying in islamabad if you can afford it, cleaner and closer. |
