I am curious; how can you list the date 8/23/2019 for a reply to RFE when today it's only 8/21/19?

RfE requested for extra evidence and affidavit that we have met the 2 years requirement. We put pictures, got friends and family to swear affidavit and sent. We pray that everything goes well

My interview was 7:30am, as Nigerian with hot blood, i got there 6am and the guards were calling out app ointment time. I made a mistake by waiting. Pls meet the security and tell them it is immigrant visa, they will put you on a queue asap.. Please don't bring makeup or phone and you're not to pay reciprocity fee. . Anyways check in took a lot of time because of the large number of immigrant applicant, we were almost 100 jeez if not more. They checked for my Ds160, gtb receipt, and appointment letter as my medicals was already sent to them. So i sat outside the consulate almost 3 hours just waiting before I was allowed into the consulate. I went in and was called to a window where she collected birth certificate, affidavit of support, into passport, 2 passport photograph, Gtb receipt, appointment letter and ds 160 form with police certificate. Then the second wait started, it was a very sad moment cos a lot of people were put in administrative processing for these few reasons below. 1. Your Lawyer made mistake with forms, names or record. 2. Not enough documents, so if you are divorced, bring pic from former relationship especially if you have kids. 3. Don't bring only wedding pics, bring regular selfies n fun pics 4. Smile and act like you really are in love with your husband or fiancee. I was blushing and giggling 5. Na God ooo, no formulae to this thing. Hold God for work oo. 6. They read the chat your fiancee sends to USCIS, you have to be careful even the jokes you crack or what your chat comprises of; abusive ex, politics or anything implicating, my bobo edited and pack all my sex talk chat for them to see. Abi now 7. Just ask any direct question and I'll give feed back based on what i saw. So my above observation is based on the interviews I witnessed there, but don't stress or worry. I over prepared but things did not go how I planned. See below my personal interview experience. My name was called at about 12:20pm, i walked up to the consular and swore an oath to say the truth. He asked how I met my bobo, i told him a family friend hooked us up and he asked how, i told him. He asked if bobo engage me the first time he saw me, i said no that bobo likes to take his time oo that it was the 2nd time we saw he proposed and the consular started smiling. He didn't ask for any evidence or chat or anything, he just said you're approved congratulations. I did not even hide my joy, people were just laughing. I just started saying haaaaa Jesuuuu ooo I'm getting married. Consular started laughing, gave me my passport pickup address and congratulated me again. In fact it was less than 80 seconds, it wasn't my document or answers to anything, mine was strictly God. So that's my 80 seconds miracle. They will give you the visa that's not an issue just carry every document you have so they don't tell you to mail them a document, then put you in administrative processing which can last up to 90 days. In fact they will give you a slip and say it's only after 90 days you can contact them. Congratulations to you all in advance. God will do it

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
