Embassy Review : |
Our appointment is at 8am but the security check line on the first floor won't open to the public until 8am, just a heads-up. As soon as we arrived at the interview waiting area, a lady behind the windows invited us over to complete the registration/preparation process: she took the first page of the interview notice, took the picture and fingerprints. We then seated in the waiting for about 10 mins before ours names were called. We were interviewed together by a male officer, friendly but also very professional. He went through basic information on the form with me first and then yes/no questions. And then he started verifying basic information with my husband. He was taking notes during the interview such as our relationship timeline, wedding plans, future vacations, etc. Finally he asked if I have more evidence to prove our bona fide marriage cuz I didn't submit much along with the application. I handed him a set of our pictures with family and friends, the utility bills, joint tax return transcripts, bank statements and some other documents that have both of our names on it. The overall process completed in an hour, we walked out of the building at 9am. We didn't get the approval at the spot but he said everything looks good. |

Timeline Comments: 4 DM87 on 2019-04-11 said: Hi, we have similar timeline. Did you have to expedite your case? Thank you
No I didn't expedite it. I actually already have my interview scheduled so I thought we would have stopped working on my combo case.
DM87 on 2019-04-11 said: Got it, thanks! And congrats!
I’m at fee for fingerprints received still.
Thanks and hope yours is coming soon!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
