Wow! Fast! Congratulations. Did you expedite?

Thank you. We filed for I-129F, which helped our case to be reviewed sooner.

Am curious as to how filing an I-129 helped your I-130 to be reviewed faster. I was told if you are narried you can only file the I-130. My husband and I got married in March and we still have not gotten our NOA 2 letter. I'm happy for you! Hope Nebraska starts moving a bit faster. I just want to be with my husband!!

Thank you Patricia, I-129F visa also known as K-3 Visa is for spouses. There are cases/applicants who tried filing the K-3 Visa after they received a NOA1 for I-130. As the Nebraska SC reviews the filled I-129F (K-3 visa), they will deny it and approve the I-130 application. You can try it too!!! I hope you'll be approved soon.

What documents did youu have to submit to file the k-3 visa. Do we need to send everything we sent for the I-130? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So did you file a paper version of the I-129? According to them that is what I'll have to do!

I submitted the I-129F too, I hope it helps process our case sooner too.

I read where you asked to have your case expedited because of emotional and financial hardship. I'm glad it worked for you. All of us are experiencing emotional hardships, and a lot are experiencing the financial aspect of it too. I did not file the I-129 as it is not working so much any more. At least that's what some are saying. I wish you all the best and hope you are reunited with your loved ones very soon if you aren't already. God Bless!

@Patricia Owuh yes, it worked! it's easier to send expedite request at NVC cause the U.S. Consulate will decide if they will approve it or not. I hope it will work on you too.
I can see that it is still working, you can still try to file i-129f, its never too late. I wish you the best too! Godbless :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
