Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process. I am still waiting and would be grateful if you respond to a few questions. - Did they send your file to NBC? - Did your interview said it is combined interview and your spouse should be with you? - What questions were asked from you and your spouse during i-751 interview? - Did they tell you you are approved right away? Thanks and good luck

Hello. Thank you! My file was sent to NBC after I applied for N400. When I got my interview letter, it only stated the N-400, nothing about a combined interview but I brought my husband with me just in case. She told him to wait outside and that she would call him if she needed him but she never did. After she swore me in she told me that she couldn’t adjudicate my N400 until my I751 is closed and asked me what I brought to add to my file. I gave her our 2018 tax return, 2014-2018 tax transcripts, boarding passes from our travels, pictures, 8 bank statements, our AT&T account bill, 4 electric and gas bills, paperwork showing our insurance coverage and then she said she didn’t need anything else. She asked for my passport and green card and I gave them to her. She then proceeded with the N400, asked me to verify my information then started with the civics test. She asked me who was the President during the Great Depression & WWII, What does the President’s cabinet do, when do we celebrate independence and who lives in the White House and told me to write the President lives in the White House on the iPad. She then informed me that I should be getting updates on the I751 later in the week and I should receive my oath letter in the coming week. She informed me that my oath ceremony would be in June. She told me I was approved but needed to update my case because I travel for work, I had to verify my trips for the past 3 years and that took at least 30 minutes. Once I gave her all that information, she told me to look out for my oath letter and that I’ll receive my green card and that I’ll have to return them at my oath ceremony. I hope this helps. Good luck
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
