Have you gotten your NVC packet yet?
Nat&Vince on 2019-05-05 said:
Not yet. The NOA2 says to give it 30 days

So we hadn't received anything from the NVC so I sent an email and a few days later received one with the case number stating it had been forwarded to the consulate. After waiting a few weeks without packet 3 I sent an email to the consulate on a Friday. I received the standard 'we will get to you lol' At around 5pm I got an email from the consulate asking for proof my fiancee was a Canadian citizen (she was born in Australia). Since she was her visiting she had everything and we sent it that night. On Monday got an email acknowledgement of the proof and that it would be sent to the Visa unit. By 3pm we had received packet 3. Sent that off on Friday and got packet 4 today.

Hello!
Congrats on your K1 visa thus far! I think I’m in the same timeline as you; however, I’m attempting to book interview date but nothing is available. When did you book your appointment? How soon were the dates? Do you think August dates are still opened!?

Thankyou and congrats on your K1 so far too. The date was booked in the beginning of June and August was the earliest date. I am not sure if any dates for August are left. The only thing I would suggest would be to check for one every day. Good luck and I hope you find something

Thankyou. Nat said it was pretty quick. Her appointment was at 7:30am and she got there at 6am and was first in line. Like the reviews said it was pretty straight forward with one window being paperwork, one being biometrics and then the interview which she said wasn't like an interview. She was done and calling me with the good news at 8:33am. One thing she did point out was she had extra paperwork so if you think they may ask for it, bring it with you. One other thing was everything we read said it would take 2 weeks to 1 month to have the visa in hand and she had hers in two days. I will mention this to her and let her add to it. Good luck you should have no problem

Hi guys! It looks like it has been awhile since you checked in. Any news from the NBC about your case?
Nat&Vince on 2023-08-28 said:
Yes it has been a while. We got her 2 year green card and filed for the 10 year one over a year ago. Just waiting on the bureaucracy to get to it lol. VJ says anywhere between Feb 24 and March 24
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
