Interview was a piece of cake for us as we are a real couple. Went to the Minneapolis field office, were checked in by security then asked to show our appointment letters and waited for our number to be called. The interviewer was a very nice lady and easy to talk with and made us feel comfortable. She took us back to a private room with just the five of us. Me (the US citizen) my wife (K1) her 13 year old daughter (K2) and our 10 month old baby. The interviewer asked my wife all of the questions and I only intervened once or twice when my wife had some difficulty with a question. Since her daughter is only 13 and not 14 yet the only question for her was what her full name was. The interviewer had no problem with us bringing our baby with and seemed to like that we did bring her. The baby got a little cranky towards the end of the interview but the interviewer had no issue with that and told us not to worry about it at all. She did not ask to see much paperwork, other than our id’s our baby’s birth certificate and just a few utility and bank statements with our names on it as well as my tax returns. She did not ask to see any pictures or anything else but she said she appreciated us being so organized and for brining everything we could have thought of. Overall it was a pleasant experience! At the end of the interview she said she was going to approve them for green cards as long as all the security clearances passed and told us we should receive the cards within 10 days. Then she walked us out of the office and told us congratulations! It took us about 20 minutes to walk back to the hotel and I checked USCIS and it already said the cards are being produced!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
