Waiting for the appointment took longer than expected, but the actual interview itself was pretty easy. The IO asked a few simple questions (e.g. dates of birth for both of us, city/state of birth, names of parents, marriage date, where and how did you meet, etc.). And then he went through the long list of questions in the I-485 packet. This all happened in his office with none of it recorded.
Before being questioned, he asked if we had any other proof of a bona fide relationship. We handed over everything we brought (financial documents, proof of shared insurance, etc.). We offered up our photos and he mentioned he didn't need them.
I'm surprised to say this - considering this office is known not to do this, but we were approved right on the spot. After answering our questions, he said he'd go ahead and approve us - he mentioned the card was now in the process of being produced and then asked us to wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes just to make sure everything checks out.
UPDATE 10/24/20: The approval letter came in the mail today regardless of the fact that the tracker online seems stuck on the "Interview Was Scheduled" status. The letter says a Green Card should arrive within three weeks.
UPDATE 10/26/20: Well, that was unbelievably quick - the Green Card came today!

Timeline Comments: 4I had mine yesterday but it has not yet changed on casetracker.. it still says interview scheduled... please I will like to know if yours has changed...
Hi Robify! Mine has not changed either, but looking through VisaJourney, I'm not surprised considering there are people here who have gotten their Green Card, but haven't had their status changed. I'm going to wait the 2-3 weeks it takes for the Green Card to arrive and then I'll see what I need to do. I'll keep you updated if I get anything until then!
Hi Robify! Just wanted to let you know that the approval letter came in today even though the online tracker has yet to be updated. The letter indicates a Green Card should arrive within the next three weeks.
Hi Robify! As promised - here's another update: we received the Green Card yesterday. Hope everything is working out for you as well!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
