We’re you able to schedule a interview without a problem? And how do you contact NVC to get your case number?

I have my interview date after 4 to 5 days of stalking the interview appointment page. I'll recommend checking 3 to 4 times a day, keep in touch with others looking for dates so you can all be carried along. NVC: - 603-334-0700

Thank you

Mekusa after the nvc sent packet to the nigeria embassy who and how did they notify you to contact them for a interview? We got a letter by email around 8/20 saying they were sending to the consulate. And once the country embassy in nigeria receive our packet they will contact us. They still havent contacted us . How were you notified that the embassy received your petition? Did they mail a notice to your foreign fiance residence or us residence? 😣

@MyNigerianKING neither embassy nor NVC will contact you with a go ahead to book your interview, at least I've never seen anyone.
You should track your case on the ceac.state.gov website. It should say "ready" cos it takes about 4 to 6 business days to arrive at the embassy from NVC. At this point you should send an email to LagosIV@state.gov, requesting the instructions and requirements for Fiancè visa interview. While on it you can go to a GTBANK branch near you and pay the Visa fee. You can either choose to pay the fee before filling and submitting the ds160 form, or vice versa. I did vice versa. Hope that helps.

Thank you they told me today my case is being sent to the Lagos embassy so I’ll contact them and see so you had to pay before you could schedule the interview? You can complete ds160 then schedule then pay?

Yes, you pay before scheduling, complete and submit the ds160 before scheduling.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
