How do you book the interview? Does the embassy send you something or is it via the website?
Rusk Marcotte on 2019-05-30 said:
From what I was told you will receive in the mail instructions and your partner will receive instructions ! The next phase is DS-160 where they will fill out the forms by computer!

How do you already have an interview, Joanna? We're on a very similar timeline and the last notification we got was a letter that it was sent to UK. Thanks!

Sorry for the duplicate, the site said it wasn't going through 😂

The London embassy site has some instructions on scheduling. Just followed through those and it allowed us to schedule. I think the embassy gets an emailed case beforehand so it showed up in their system today!

Congratulations! My fiance's interview is on the 1st! How was it? What did he say?
Tankgrrl on 2019-06-26 said:
Thanks! It was quite easy but the wait was longer than some of the experiences we read as it was quite busy. He was probably there about an hour and a half. They asked a general "tell me about your relationship" question, then asked him how old I am and where I live. I'm sure he will do a consulate review once he's back home. :)

My fiance got approved today! This has been a much quicker process than expected! I'm sure you're excited to have your fiance here this week!
Tankgrrl on 2019-07-01 said:
Congrats! â˜ºï¸ I was figuring he wouldn't be here until fall, we were surprised! My fiance is not looking forward to the heat we are having this week though haha.

Congratulations on your marriage! Ours is 10/10/19 :) How was filing the AOS?
Tankgrrl on 2019-09-21 said:
Thank you! Hope you have a lovely wedding day. It flies by 😊 AOS was really simple. We finished it up before the wedding and just had to add the marriage certificate and post it when we got back. The progress report subforum has a simple list on each month's post.

Joanna we submitted our AOS not that long ago... Can we connect off of this site so I can find out how it's been for you? It would be cool to talk to someone in a similar situation. My email is missjcole@gmail.com. Thank you! :)
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
