Comments : It was a very simple process. He was number two in the immigration line. He was instructed to a room and was asked minimal questions. He said it only lasted about 10 min and was out collecting his bags. It was so smooth that he actually was waiting on me picking him up from the airport.

Consulate Review: Jamaica
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : December 28, 2018
Embassy Review : The interview was scheduled for 10am. He arrived early due to him traveling from Montego Bay and not sure if the bus will leave on time. He stated that it was extremely crowed so he had to wait until his appointment time to be displayed for him to entered into the building. He was instructed to provide all documentation and then was instructed to go to another area for the actual interview. He stated that you were able to hear everyone's interview b/c of how they have it set up. He made sure to listen to each question and answer the question as if he was taking the interview. He did say that he noticed some people were unprepared and the lady was giving them 20+ questions. He was thankful he didn't have her. He was instructed to a window with a white male. The following questions were asked: Where did we meet? What hotel did I stay at when I first visited? Do I have any children? Who lives with me? Has he every been to court? What did I give him for his birthday? What did he give me for my birthday? Plans for the wedding? Is family attending? He said he was so nervous but was direct and confident with his answers. He even provided more photos at the interview and was asked who child was in the picture. He made a joke that I have already spoiled him too much and approved him right there. He stated that he wasn't even listening to the remaining of the conversation. He was happy that he was approved and wanted to get out so he didn't change his mind.

Trying to give as much information as possible. I received a RFE due to lack of evidence proving we will be married within 90 days. I provided a sample invitation as well of a receipt from the vendor. Received an estimation of a wedding cake, flowers and he had to provide a letter of intent.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
