Consulate Review: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 19, 2020
Embassy Review : It's never going to be a fun experience, but all in all it wasn't bad. Friendly people, from security to interviewer. Just make sure you have all your stuff in order, that's up to you.

The downside is how they schedule their appointments. If you get an interview appointment, it'll probably say it's scheduled at 1PM. That's because everyone's interview is scheduled at the same time (or so it seems). I was there at 12:45, was the 3rd one to get in and probably the 10th to walk out at 14:45. About 5-10 minutes of that was actual contact with someone, the rest is just waiting.

Not knowing how their system works, it does feel like this process could be way more efficient.

Congratulations on being approved recently! :) Might I ask you a few questions about this since my partner and I are on similar timeline? We were documentarily qualified this week. -L

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
