Hi CaliJ! You may be getting your NOA#2 very soon because we sent our petition around the same time and I just got mine today. 🤞ðŸ¾

Hi Terrell USA. We got approved already. I just hadn't updated my timeline. God is good and congratulations too.

You mean your petition was approved for NOA#2 or your Visa interview was approved?

Our petition was approved

That's great ! We are neck and neck. I have been calling the NVC to get my case number so that I can schedule my fiance's medical but it's not there yet. It has been four weeks already. Have you tried calling yet? NVC# 603.334.0700 or 603.334.0888

Same case here. No case number yet. My fiance has been calling.

Hey CaliJ, me and my fiancee is having the hardest time with Visa payment. How did you make the MPesa payment. Because Postbank is out of the question. It's only in Kenya.
CaliJ on 2019-05-13 said:
Ask you fiancee to look for an M-pesa agent. Ask the agent how much it would cost to send the amount that was quoted in Kenyan shillings but you pay the equivalent in Ugandan shillings. Make sure it's the exact amount. Not more and not less. After that, ask them to show you a message that confirms that the money has been sent(I would take a picture). Then wait for about 6 hours for the payment to reflect. You could ask her to reach out to me if it gets confusing.

Ok, I will inform her of the procedure. Is there a way that I can make the payment online myself from America? I'm shocked that the U.S. embassy has not made online payments easily accessable. I'm very distrustful when it comes to making money exchanges of any sort in Africa. I have heard so many horror stories.
CaliJ on 2019-05-13 said:
You can't make the payment from America. You just need to find a trust worthy M-Pesa agent. I don't know where your fiance lives but the lady who did the transaction for me is very reliable. The earlier you pay that money, the better because you need to find a date for the interview and they are taken quickly because the US Embassy in Kenya is super busy.

Ok, thank you so much. Once again for clarity. 1. Go to an M-Pesa agent in Uganda.
2. Pay the exact Visa cost.
3. Get a receipt.
Question: Is there some sort of I.D. number or access code when I make the M-Pesa payment? In other words, who do I make the M-Pesa payment to?
CaliJ on 2019-05-13 said:
Yeah they should have sent your fiance a Personal Identification Number(PIN) in the payment instructions. That number is unique to your fiancee. You may not get a receipt but ask from them to show your fiance the message that confirms that the payment has been made. The lady took a screenshot for me and sent it to me.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
