Event Description
Review Date : July 12, 2021
Embassy Review : After a long wait for the interview appointment and the interview went really smoothly.

Interviewer went over the forms we had filed, asked us a couple of questions, my parents names, my husbands full name and were he was born and then asked my husband how we met and our future plans.

Asked to see our supporting documents but didn’t ask any questions about specific documents and then asked to see pictures of which she looked through and kept but again didn’t ask any questions.

Told at the end of interview that she had do review the file one more time but that I was approved for a ten year green card and explained the process for citizenship to me as well.

Overall apart from the long wait time I had a great experience.
Harassment Level : Very Good

Congratulations on your NOA2! May I ask if you met online like we did? You got your NOA2 quickly and we hope to aswell.

Hi, no my fiancé has been working in the uk and Europe for the last two years so we met in person. I’m sure you’ll get your NOA2 soon, I know most people meet online so it won’t be a problem.

Congrats. Our interview just got scheduled in Sea for next month. In terms of documents, did you use a checklist from VJ to figure out what you should take or did you just go off the list on the letter?

I used the letter as a base and then read through some forums on here to get an idea of what they wanted in terms of supporting documents, those were the things my interviewer asked for (things like joint bank accounts, credit cards, car insurance, beneficiary of 401k and life insurance, health insurance just anything that shows you have a life together) and then she was interested in pictures as well, ones from the wedding, and just of our life together.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
