The following is what my wife told me happened during her K3 interview in Islamabad, Pakistan on June 5th.
I had my interview time at 8am and they called me in at 815am. They took my checklist upon entrance and i was seated in the lounge. I was called to window # 5 to deposit the visa fee equivalent to 100 $ and i gave them Rs-6100/- The guy told me to wait and shortly they'll call me for the interview. He also asked me about the language that i prefer the interview to be in. After 5 mins, i was called to window # 6 and a pakistani lady was sitting there. She asked me to deposit the DS forms, medical report, police clearance certificate, marriage + birth certificates, tax returns, affidavit of support.... All the stuff according to the check list. She then asked me to show the original copies of my birth certificate, marriage certificate and police clearance certificate. She was filling a form while looking at my documents and checked the YES box infront of every question. She asked me to show the wedding pics and then proceeded to ask a few questions.
when did you get married?
how do you know him?
Then she wrote " Looks Good" on the sheet that she was filling and said ok you may sit again and wait for the final interview call. After another 10 mins i was called to window # 7. An american lady was sitting there. She had all my papers and made me take an oath first...She then started asking the following questions:
What's your name?
Who's your petitioner?
What does he do?
Where does he work?
He is working for which company?
How do you know him?
How did he get his citizenship?
Have you ever been to the US?
Is this your first international trip?
What do you do?
Is this a love/arranged marriage?
How many people attended this event?
Did both families attend your wedding?
Show me your previous passport? (i told her that's its not valid and the passport office kept it with them and my old passport did not have any visas on it)
She said ok, show me your pictures, show me the Barat ones...
After spending almost 10min on the window she said, ok you are approved and you'll get your visa in a few weeks via AMEX and signed one sheet... . I asked her Is it over now? she said yes you'll get your visa in few weeks and gave me a pink slip (token?) and my visa number is mention on it apparently...
It took a complete hour and I was out of the building by 920am...

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
