Consulate Review: Ankara, Turkey
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description

Embassy Review : husband went in for his interview everything was fine my father was a sponsor and we knew that he made enough money for the copter insisted that he didn't and that he was to include all of us into the sponsorship even though we live separately he was denied and put it into administrative processing I contact his lawyer in lawyer said no he makes enough money so we can proceed let you write a letter to the Embassy explaining no we do not live together me and my father do not live together and we put in the poverty guidelines for them and explain to the evidence all over again my husband was told to send his passport and paperwork back to the Embassy was approved for his visa.remember one thing the consoles not always right they make mistake in their human if you are in doubt and you know that something is not right speak up. That are also rushed for these interviews which I do not think is right you need to take your time and make sure that they understand then the whole circumstance I'm very thankful for my husband to be here good luck to any of those going to the Embassy in Ankara they can be quite hard on people and really too quick to charge
Rating : Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
