My husband and I are applying for the same visa -- could you elaborate on the denial outcome of your interview? :( So sorry to see this

Well buddy, if you have overstayed you visa, but you’re married to a US citizen, you have to apply for the CR1 visa, cause I was removed from US , I had to go trough the consular processe. Once you have an appointment, they will ask you a few questions, nothing major because they have no power to issue a visa, so you have file a waiver with USCIS ... and prove extreme hardship bla bla bla ...
but at the embassy they don’t ask nothing special. They ask basic questions like , where do you met your wife... and they will give you a denial letter with a check mark saying that you’re elegible for a waiver .... and then you just have to file , sit tight and wait ( worse part )

Again, so sorry to hear about this. Hopefully with the waiver you can get it all sorted out as quickly as possible! Thanks for the details. Best wishes

thx, but im ok , im positive , its all part of the process, and if the USCIS approves you i130 you'll be ok ... you only need to prove the hardship for the waiver ... like I said its only time consuming an lots of money flying .... ☺ï¸
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
