Very positive experience! We went in at 9:15 and waited for ~10 minutes. Our interview lasted about 20-25 minutes. The officer was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable immediately. Turns out that we live in the same area so we connected over that - definitely a midwestern friendly kind of guy. He asked us questions to confirm information on the I-485 and also asked the obligatory "Are you a terrorist?" Y/N questions. It was all very light and conversational, not like an interrogation at all - no strange or trick questions. He asked if we wanted to submit any additional evidence, so we submitted documents like the deed of trust for our house, car titles, insurance info, bank statements, beneficiary info, etc. I asked him if he wanted additional photos, but he declined saying he had enough. He didn't directly say we were approved, but he said he had to go over the final checklist just to make sure he had everything from us, but he's almost positive there will be no issues with the approval. He then talked about when to expect to get the approval letter/green card in the mail, so from that, I'm 99% sure we're approved. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
