So far there has been a RFE regarding four questions of the petitioner James' arrest records, all of which were NO answers. So that took months to correct.
Then the USCIS committed "numerous errors and transactions" to our case which delayed the process even further, including giving us a false NOA2 which we were instructed to destroy.
Since Filipino beneficiary Vanessa worked in Hong Kong for a few years, we had to wait until after the US Consulate in Montreal sent out the packet 3 instructions letter to request the HK police certificates.
And our latest adventure is having Vanessa's blood tested to make sure her MMR vaccination is current, which could potentially add another month onto the process.
Needless to say, our immigration attorney should have warned us about that upcoming pitfall. |

It has been a bizarre overall process to have the I-129F take 16 months to have the interview, the EAD and AP are still not approved, and the AOS is now past the interview and is approved in less than 5 months.
So things seemed to have somewhat balanced out from a timing standpoint.
Just be prepared for the AOS with tons of good evidence as that is the main key. And be honest always during the interview. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
