Status changed to "Ready to schedule interview" on 9/5/2019 - old site. New site updated next day.
Status changed to "Interview scheduled" on 9/17/2019 - old site. New site updated next day.
Interview: There was no one at any of the windows when we arrived and I had to ask an IO that was calling someone's name whether we needed to check-in or not and if there was a number system. They said yes and no there was no number system.
IO was nice and asked about how we met and where we got married etc. Then, asked random questions based on info from the applications (wife and daughter). Finally, went through all the disqualification questions at the end of the applications. At the end she said that as long as the evidence I gave her (lease, bank statements, credit card statements, electric bill, health insurance card, life insurance benificiary statement, photographs) looked good she would approve us that afternoon (interview took place at 9:30am).
Next morning the new site updated to "Case must be reviewed". Not very comforting given her statement the day before.
After 9 days (Saturday morning), status updated to "New card being is produced" on new site. Yay! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
