Was queuing on USC lane, very nice officer. Waited for like 10 minutes for my turn to be called. Spent like 5 minutes. Handed him the K1 package from the embassy. He first congratulated me and reminded me to get married within 90 days. Fingers print taken. He asked where will I stay, how much cash I carried, and all great, welcome to America😀 |

Done with Biometric for I-485 and I-765 on 18/9 at ASC Cleveland. Our appointment was at 3pm, we got there at 2.30pm. Since there was no one before us, they processed mine right away. Showed them our appointment letter, passport and marriage certificate. Finger prints and photograph taken. Approx. 10 mins all done. Very efficient, the staff (s) were very friendly and accommodating.
Updated: on 9/19, fingerprint review was completed, on USCIS website.
Case is ready to be scheduled for interview on 3/12 |

Embassy Review : |
Had my interview last week. Arrived at the embassy at 12.15pm for 12.30pm appointment. Security guards were very kind and professional. Had to switched off mobile phone and keep it at security post. ID card given to wear all time inside building. I was on queued number 3. Overall everything went smooth. The admin lady who collected my documents were very nice. Given her all the documents required, apparently my MCU result was not in her hand yet, although hospital did notify me that they sent it a day before. But she said no problem. Waiting for my turn for 45 minutes. Next, to the Interview window. He is very nice Asian American officer. Get the biometric fingers print done. First, he lead me to swear that everything I have told and said is true. Then He asked few things like:
1. How did we met
2. Love story
3. How did he proposed
4. How many times meeting
5. If me or him had married before
6. How many times I visited US
7. Wedding plan
8. If I read the Orange paper for legal right against domestic violance in US
9. Proof of our relationship
He said, okay fantastic. However, I need to check a very quick easy question to my supervisor. Gosh, this time I was very afraid that he would reject my visa. 2 minutes later he came back and asked me to verify if the district I was born is in the right City on my birth certificate. I gave him my national ID, and it’s matched. He said, great, he kept both my passports, recent one and the old passport with US tourist visa on it. I have nothing else to ask you, only pending your MCU and your visa will be issued soon, he said. It was the best birthday gift I ever had. I thanked him while he handed me white paper slip approval. Happy Day!!! Left embassy at 2.30pm.

Mepck on 2019-03-30 said: Hi Paige. Thanks a lot! Yes, I hope too! Crossed my fingers. Still No NVC update yet as of today. Another waiting time. 1 month after NOA2 And case not received yet. What about yours?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
