Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 31, 2018
Embassy Review : My interview was scheduled at 9:45 but I came went in early at 8:30. I asked the security guard if it was too early, he looked at my confirmation and he let me in.

I made my way to the security check. All the security personnel were helpful and friendly. They were very nice. I then entered the second door . There were two Nepali employee one guy and a girl. Once I told them that i came for interview the lady gave me a number and the guy asked me pull out all my documents. While pulling the document my number was called in one of the window. I went to the window and there was a Nepali guy behind the window. He was very rude. Asked to pull documents with code. example. take 130 out , ds160 confirmation and all. He was screaming at me. saying you don't know that much as if I am always applying for visa and know all the form. he looked at the affidavit form and said your form is not complete you are missing document. While i was submitting other document he said did I ask you give that paper. don't u not understand Nepali. He asked me where i intend to live in usa. I told him and he said don't you know the full address .I think all the documents you are submitting is fake. You are not getting any visa. He rudely collected all the document, screamed and me. accused me of submitting incomplete and fake document. told me that i will not get the visa and asked to wait on the chair. After 30 minutes of wait my number was called again. This time it was the CO. He asked me questions :

1) How long have you known each other.
2) Why no marrige in nepal ?
3) Where does you intend to live ?
4) Where does your fiance work ?
5) What is your fiance's position ?
6) How will be the wedding, what type of ceremony will you have ?
7) Who is going to attend the weeding ?
8) Are parents ok with it ?
9) where do you work ?
10) who is your fiance youngest sibling ?
11) How often do you talk ? - i was about to give chat/call log he said i don't need to see it.

I submitted an album with the rude Nepali guy but the co didn't asked any question and he didn't say anything out it. My album was simple. It had ~20 photos from 10yr span of different events. There wasn't any descriptions of photos or anything.

He said I am satisfied with all your answers and I am approving your visa.He returned me all the original images, receipts sent on I-129F. gave my album back . I Thanked him and before exiting was told by another Nepali employee that the visa will be ready to be picked up in 7-10 days.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
