Tôi xin lỗi, tôi rất kinh khủng khi nói tiếng Việt và google dịch đã không dịch tốt. Nhưng nếu tôi hiểu chính xác câu hỏi của bạn, NVC sẽ gửi giấy tờ của bạn đến lãnh sự quán Hoa Kỳ tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh hoặc Đại sứ quán Hoa Kỳ tại Hà Nội. Quá trình đó mất khoảng một tháng cho trường hợp của tôi nếu tôi nhớ chính xác. Vợ tôi là người Việt Nam đã mang thai khi chúng tôi đi phỏng vấn xin visa tại lãnh sự quán. Họ đã chấp thuận thị thực, nhưng bảo chúng tôi đến lấy sau khi vợ tôi sinh con.

Many thanks for your reply. I see. It a bit strange after interview, if they approved , should have a visa directly. But anyway, congrats and thanks so much.

Yes, strange, but my wife says another pregnant woman had the same experience. The officer at the consulate said it’s cheaper that way. I guess they were bending the rules a little to be nice. Thank you. Good luck to you.
