Embassy Review : First off, the new embassy is stunning.

I arrived 30 mins early, the desk outside checked my DS 160 and told me to come back in 15 mins. I went for a coffee around the corner. I went back and went through the security scan and proceeded straight up to the main reception. My DS 160 was checked again and I was handed a piece of paper with my reference number on it. Up the elevator to floor 1 and around to the left.

Then I waited for maybe 15 mins and got called. The American gentleman wanted to the documents they needed from me, maybe taking just a few of the 12 pay stubs I supplied as income evidence for the i134. Fingerprints on both hands were scanned. He also gave me back my chest X-rays from the medical. I was then asked to sit back down and wait to be called by an office.

Maybe another 20 mins went by until I was called. The gentleman was very nice. I had to swear an oath and scan my right hand fingerprints again. He asked how we met and how the flight benefits work for my fiancé’s airline job. He then all was great and he was approving me. Visa should be delivered in a week. A very straightforward experience and although nerve racking it ended up being quite pleasant.

My advice, triple check all your documents because those people being seen before me who didn’t have all their ducks aligned, spent much longer at the desk answering questions. My entire exchange was no more than 2 minutes.
Rating : Very Good

Hi, thank you! We’re really excited. The notification first came via text message this morning. We haven’t had the paper notification yet. You can login to the website to check the status though, and when I did this morning it shows status approved. Link is https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/portfolioCustomerRetrieve.do

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
