Congrats. My son in law had the same date sept 25 but got a call on the 24th not to go to the embassy on the 25th cuz the documents are not still In the embassy. So now he has to reschedule. We have the same dates it left nvc and same date it was READY. I just dont know why they called on the 24th to say the docs are not yet there. Congrats to you guys

Angie said that she had to wait over an hour for them to find her docs. They might have tried to call her too. I did get a notice that they arrived on the 20th. I'm just now nervous that they are some how going to get delayed in getting the visa and passport back to her.
Sayong999 on 2018-09-26 said:
Why the delay? Its usually 3-5 business days. Will it be delivered to her or will she pick it up?
blank avatar MarkFarrer on 2018-09-26 said:
She will pick it up at 2GO. I'm just concerned because of past delays. It took the NVC a long time to send and it took the Embassy time to find it. They just don't seem to be organized and efficient. She was told it would be 5-10 days and I've seen a lot of timelines here showing around 8 days. Plus the Embassy was closed some because of recent flooding. Just hoping that it doesn't get delayed.
Sayong999 on 2018-09-27 said:
I hope no delays. She will be leaving October 5? She already has ticket? I hope no delays. Where do you guys stay? And yes it's true they dont seem organized and efficient. My future son-in-law had his interview rescheduled on October 4. I hope all goes well. Embassy said the other day to just wait for their email before he can reschedule. Good thing he tries everyday to reschedule online till it becomes enable. And this morning when it became enabled, he booked the earliest date. And to think that there was no email from the embassy. So can you just imagine like if we just wait for the email, it will delay things. We have to be aggressive here, if not, we will all be delayed. Can you please inform me if she already got her passport with visa? Thank you and I hope it wont be delayed.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
